Consultation for Halitosis
What is halitosis?
Halitosis is the medical term used to define bad breath, and is a common phenomenon that affects most of the population, causing discomfort, embarrassment and social isolation, affecting the quality of life. It may also be the cause of behavioral changes with impact on the social, emotional and professional relationships.
The importance of this pathology is remarkable, since the vast majority of the adult population suffer or have suffered with this phenomenon.
Regardless of gender, age or social status, the worst evaluator of halitosis is the individual himself, since studies prove the patient's inability to analyze objectively the degree of halitosis.
